The Morainic hills were formed during the Quartenary period, characterized by fertile soils of clay and fine gravel.

90 quintals of grapes.

HARVEST
Manually, in October.

VINIFICATION
Produced only in favourable harvest years with the best grapes coming from the most suitable plots. They undergo a drying process in drying chambers and then are traditionally vinified with a long maceration process. Aging for twelve months in small medium toasted wooden barrels and afterwards in the bottle.

ORGANOLEPTIC FEATURES
Intense and inky red colour. Olfactory impact of quality, with hints of mature red fruit and notes of jam and vanilla. On the palate it is balanced, fresh and full-bodied, with a continuous but delicate suite of tannins.

PAIRINGS
Red meat, roasts, game and medium to mature cheeses.
